Have Fun Exercising

For an individual to maintain good health without the drudgery and self-torture of an unappealing diet plan, torturous workouts, or other unpleasant methods, the individual should engage in physical activity that will allow him or her to have fun exercising.

An unappetizing diet or an activity that is strenuous and unpleasant is easily disregarded, but priorities will be arranged to accommodate enjoyable activities.

The most effective way to maintain good health is to eat nutritious food and to arrange enjoyable daily activities. When the daily routine becomes enjoyable, the focus can be on eating nutritious food, and there will be less idle time to occupy by eating the wrong things.

A daily workout regimen can get so monotonous and boring that the workout could easily be postponed or canceled simply because there is something interesting on the front page of the newspaper, for example. On the other hand, reading the newspaper could easily be postponed in order to enjoy a daily game of volleyball with friends or a walk in the park with a friendly neighbor.

Not only will the activities of the day be enjoyable, the feeling of gradually improving health will be very fulfilling, as well. It is much more sensible to establish a plan that is destined for success rather than failure.

By developing a daily plan that allows the individual to have fun exercising, not only will there be enjoyment in the activities, there will also be fulfillment in the fact that health is improving and a proper weight is being maintained.

People tend to think of activities that are too strenuous or boring when thinking of ways to keep extra weight off, but it is just as easy to plan enjoyable activities. The decision is simple; have fun exercising and make maintaining good health a favorite pastime.

Wanting More

From time to time I can still hear my Mother’s voice telling me that “practice makes perfect”.  And today, I frequently say the same to my children.  This bit of advice usually came when I was not quite getting the results that I wanted. I was at a point of wanting more.

Wanting more can be different things to different people.  I believe wanting more is having a desire to improve.  It is the desire to excel and reach beyond your current position. At some point in our lives we find that we’re at this point — this crossroad.  It is at this time that we ask ourselves “what next?’

Wanting more is that push inside of us that says, “it’s time”.  It’s time to step out of our comfort zones and go for it.  It’s time for us to formulate a plan by which we can reach that next level.  It’s time to go forward.

While formulating a plan, we may consider developing and fine tuning goals. After determining what the goals may be, we can then begin to schedule them.  Yes, we must make these actions part of our daily lives.  After all, we’re on the path of attaining more.  We’re climbing the ladder of success.  And we’ll be accomplishing this with each rung, each stride, with determination.  Our determination, passion and desire for wanting more is the fuel that is needed  for regular and consistent action.

When I’m at this point of wanting more, it seems natural for me to ask, ”how much time will this take?” Sometimes I wonder about the difficulties or obstacles that may lie ahead.  When I dwell too much on this, I begin to allow doubtful thoughts to creep inside.  Not good.  The wonderful thing is I don’t have to stay there. If this should happen, simply make the choice to focus on all that is good.  Think about your desires, your goals.  Allow yourself to become excited all over again at the thought of reaching your new level of excellence!

So, are you wanting more? Would you like to live passionately while having your desires? Would you like to be able to positively impact someone’s life? If so, then do it! Make the choice to reach your optimal best! Make the decision and go forward! It’s yours to have!

I’d love to hear what you’re working on!  Please leave a comment and share with a friend!

To your success,

Rita Berry
